Breast Cancer Virtual Walk

Did you know that breast cancer is the second-most common cancer in women? According to research, it is estimated that one in eight will experience breast cancer in her lifetime, and over 250,000 new cases will be diagnosed this year in the US. These are sobering statistics, but there is Hope, and a lot of amazing work is being done to decrease these numbers. That is why I am soliciting the community support in The Walk.

On October 10, 2020, a virtual walk was sponsored by the Health and Wellness Ministry at Trinity Baptist Church, Benedict College, Palmetto Trust, A Division of Self-Help Credit Union, Columbia Urban League Project Ready, and Project TECH. Beverly Yarborough, owner and trainer of Wonderfully Made Dance Fitness, LLC, hosted the event.
